I’m very happy to welcome you on our IFMR webpage, that means you’ve found us!
You already discovered on the main page that IFMR stands for International Fellowship of Motorcycling Rotarians.
Sharing our love for biking and building frontier less friendships that’s what it is all about! In doing so, we advance international understanding, goodwill and peace. Through our world fellowship we enhance the possibilities of (inter)national networking within Rotary.
Our Belgian Chapter was created on 14th of March 1998 on initiative of Jean-Marie Michaux, founding president (RC-Gedinne-Wellin). Thank you for that Jean-Marie!
In the mean time, we count 25 members.
We organise yearly some four Belgian tours. That is one meeting at the beginning of the biker season and one at the end. We participate once a year at least, in an activity generating funds for a social purpose. And on invitation of one of our members, we discover a particular region.
We also stimulate our members to participate in at least one international meeting. We were present at international meetings from our friends from IFMR AGS (Austria-Germany-Switzerland), France, Great-Britain, Netherlands and Norden (Denmark-Sweden- Norway-Finland-Iceland), and hopefully more to come….
Don’t forget to check out our calendar!
